This Peanut Sauce is a fantastic accompaniment to chicken satay, spring rolls, stir fry, or any other of your favourite Asian-inspired dishes.
- 1 cup onion diced
- 5 cloves garlic minced
- 3/4 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1 1/2 tbsp Glasses & Grapes Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 225 ml water
- 75 ml hoisin sauce
- 75 ml peanut butter
- 25 ml tomato paste
- 1 tbsp sugar
Cook onions, garlic, and red pepper flakes in olive oil over medium heat for four minutes.
Whisk in the remaining ingredients and cook for one minute. Let cool to room temperature, and serve.
